My visit here was for a boxing day breakfast with the family. Perfect. Well, it may have been if there was some tea. Seriously, no tea! (they had run out!)
It probably won’t surprise you that I am impressed with anyone that uses the superlatives ‘Amazing’ and ‘Luxury’ on a menu. For me, that means something special. In this instance, it meant that they had run out of tea – Not the sort of special that I expected. The staff were superb. The service was great, however the surroundings were very obviously tired and the whole place needs a serious clean and some redecoration/refurbishment.
The breakfast was mediocre. It did come with sautéed potato – but no bread or toast which I find wholly unacceptable. Can it really be a Full English breakfast without bread, (plain, fried or toasted)?
