This is a huge garden centre. The type of place your nan would love.
It was an OK breakfast, it was very big. Sausages didn’t impress, nor did mushrooms. 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 perfectly poached eggs, mushrooms, sautéed potatoes, tomato, beans, toast and fried bread.
I was so unimpressed with the sausages, I bought some from their own butcher to cook them at home, (in case the ones I had were ‘off’). The ones I cooked at home went in the bin – they tasted the same. I can only assume they got the recipe wrong that day, they were without doubt the worst I have eaten.
I was underwhelmed. It was made worse by the fact that the servers were wearing polo shirts stating that they are the ‘Midlands Best Breakfast’ – far, far from it. I would say its a big breakfast, but wouldn’t even get in the top half of those I’ve reviewed.
